Terms of Service

Only Laughs Inc. operates Only Laughs, a subscription platform that connects comedy creators with their audiences. Creators publish videos, posts, and other content; fans subscribe directly to creators to access that content.

Only Laughs Inc. acts as a technology platform and payment facilitator. We are not a talent agency, employer, or content producer. Creators are independent individuals, not employees of Only Laughs Inc.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Only Laughs. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You must not use the platform if you have been previously banned from Only Laughs or if applicable law prohibits you from entering into this agreement.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Do not share your credentials.

You agree to provide accurate information when registering. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.

One person may only maintain one account unless expressly permitted by us.

Eligibility. To become a creator you must apply through the platform and be approved. We reserve the right to accept or decline applications at our sole discretion.

Revenue share. Creators keep 80% of subscription revenue. Only Laughs retains a 20% platform fee to cover payment processing, infrastructure, and platform development. Payouts are processed weekly once Stripe is connected.

Content ownership. You retain full ownership of the content you upload. By publishing it on Only Laughs you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and deliver your content to your subscribers for as long as it remains published on the platform.

Content standards. All content must comply with our Content Policy (Section 7). You are solely responsible for the content you upload and for ensuring you hold all necessary rights to publish it.

Tax obligations. You are responsible for declaring and paying all applicable taxes on income earned through the platform. Only Laughs may be required by law to collect and report your earnings to tax authorities.

Subscriptions. Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis. Once payment processing is live, you authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal date unless you cancel beforehand.

Cancellation. You may cancel a subscription at any time through the Billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to that creator's content until then.

Refunds. We generally do not issue refunds for subscription fees already charged. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact legal@only-laughs.com and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

Gift subscriptions. Gift subscriptions are non-refundable once redeemed by the recipient.

Pay-per-view. Individual post purchases are final and non-refundable once the content has been unlocked and accessed.

Payments will be processed by our payment provider once finalised. By providing payment details you agree to the provider's terms of service. We do not store card numbers or banking credentials.

Prices are displayed in USD. Your bank or card provider may apply foreign exchange fees for transactions in a different currency.

The following content is strictly prohibited on Only Laughs:

• Content that is illegal under applicable law
• Sexual content involving minors (CSAM) — zero tolerance, reported to authorities
• Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII)
• Content that incites violence, hatred, or discrimination based on protected characteristics
• Harassment, doxxing, or targeted abuse of individuals
• Content that infringes third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• Spam, deceptive practices, or misleading claims
• Malware or harmful code

Comedy that is edgy, dark, or provocative is welcome on Only Laughs — that's what the platform is for. The prohibitions above are about genuine harm, not discomfort.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates this policy, without prior notice.

The Only Laughs name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not use them without prior written permission.

If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at legal@only-laughs.com with details of the infringement.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for material breach of these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Creator payouts for earnings accrued up to the termination date will still be processed in the normal payout cycle, subject to any outstanding disputes.

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

We are not responsible for the content published by creators. Creators are solely responsible for their content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Only Laughs Inc.'s total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) €100.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, loss of profits, or loss of data.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will give you at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of the changes constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
